Malouf Named 2018 Best of State Winner in Utah

Presented annually, the Best of State Awards recognize outstanding individuals, organizations, and businesses in Utah. More than 100 judges independently review nominations and select winners based on achievement and excellence in their fields of endeavor, innovative approaches or methods, and contribution to quality of life in the state of Utah.

“Winning the Best of Utah Award is a huge honor for us,” said Sam Malouf, CEO. “As much as we try to be good business people with high values in our industry, we also want to be good, fair, and helpful neighbors in our own community. This award is a wonderful compliment of our products, our business, and our employees.”

Over the past three years, Malouf has expanded from 49 to more than 300 employees, and works hard to maintain its unique culture as it grows. While the company aims to be a leader in the bedding industry, it also has goals to be one of the best workplaces in the country. The company pays all insurance premiums for full-time employees and their families, as well as offers some creative benefits, like farm-to-table lunches made daily by the Malouf culinary team and weekly yoga classes.

In addition to its efforts in business and as an employer, Malouf also seeks to ensure every child has aid, justice, and comfort through the Malouf Foundation, partnering with non-profit organizations around the world to shelter, protect, and rescue children from sex trafficking, exploitation, and abuse.
