Spring Air Pairs with New Licensee Continental Silverline

Mattress producer Spring Air International has signed with Continental Silverline Products LLC in Houston to become its newest domestic licensee.

Under terms of the agreement, Continental Silverline will begin producing the Back Supporter and Chattam & Wells lines in its 100,000-square-foot factory on Sept. 1 for distribution in Texas, Oklahoma, New Mexico, Arkansas, and Louisiana.

“This is an important addition to the Spring Air family as we continue to grow our network of U.S. licensees by adding strong regional producers,” said Nick Bates, president of Spring Air International.

“This key territory will allow us to continue to build upon Spring Air’s already strong brand recognition,” added Bates.

Continental Silverline’s product line includes private-label bedding for major retail customers, and the company will continue to produce bedding under the Restonic label.

“We have been impressed with the Spring Air management team and their efforts to revitalize the brand,” said Drew Robins, president of Continental Silverline. “This is a great opportunity for us, and we’re looking forward to working with Spring Air as we expand in the marketplace.”

Bates said the Spring Air licensing territory covered by Continental Silverline is part of a 26-state territory serviced by Texas-based Corsicana Bedding, whose licensing agreement ends Aug. 31. He said Spring Air expects to sign additional domestic licensees in the coming weeks.
