ManWah Holdings has announced the acquisition of Delancey Manufacturing in China.
Effective immediately, Grey Hunsucker has been named president of this new division. In this new role, Hunsucker will report to Guy Ray, CEO of ManWah Holdings USA.
This OEM factory has over 1 million square feet of manufacturing, with opportunity for expansion. The factory today employs more than 800 people and has the capacity of up to 600 containers per month.
“This new division will continue to be dedicated to the OEM export market. The new ownership will provide the investment needed to expand this business and build upon a very strong foundation,” said Hunsucker.
“We will invest in new and updated equipment, focusing on greater efficiencies. Additionally, we will invest in the operations of the company to better service the customers and future customers of Delancey,” said Wong Man Li, chairman of ManWah Holdings.
“Grey Hunsucker has proven himself to be an outstanding talent. His strength in products and customer service will serve him well in leading this new division,” said Ray.
“ManWah Holdings has committed to servicing the North American market and investing where we see opportunity,” he added. “This factory gives us the additional capacity to commit to the OEM channel, while giving customers quality products at a value proposition from an already proven factory.”
Delancey will have a dedicated showroom at the October High Point Market, which will be announced soon.
