Baker, Laura Kirar Partner for New Collection

The new 28-piece Laura Kirar Collection for Baker, which includes new mirrors, occasional tables, sofas, and armchairs, was presented at the Spring 2018 Market in High Point, N.C.

The new group is Kirar’s fourth collection for Baker. It was designed and planned in collaboration with Baker's craftsmen and artisans, and features handcrafted details and complex new silhouettes.

Kirar first made a debut in her partnership with Baker in 2006, again in 2010, and in 2014.

At the heart of each collection are designs informed by Kirar’s research into design and style history, as well as her background in fine arts and crafts. Now her immersion in Mexican culture, design, and pre-Columbian architecture are influencing her collections.
