Bob’s Discount Furniture Hosts Grand Opening Celebration

Bob’s Discount Furniture hosted a grand opening celebration over the Memorial Day weekend in honor of its new store in Brea, Calif.
The Brea location is Bob’s seventh store to open in California this year.
A ribbon cutting ceremony took place on Thursday, May 24, featuring Bob’s employees; Dave Bowman, Special Olympics board member; Gail Bowman, Special Olympics coach; and select athletes.
Those attending the grand opening celebration also had the opportunity to meet Los Angeles Charger Derek Watt and participate in a variety of family entertainment throughout the weekend.
In honor of the new store opening, the Bob’s Outreach team donated $10,000 to local children’s charities and schools in the Brea area, including Brea Canyon High School. Bob Parish, vice principal of Brea Canyon High School, accepted the $2,500 outreach donation at the ceremony.
