Art Van Furniture to Open New Missouri Store

Art Van Furniture, a Midwestern furniture and mattress retailer, will open its seventh Missouri showroom in Cape Girardeau in the former Hutson Fine Furniture and Mattress location.
Art Van Furniture opened six new stores in St. Louis earlier this year.
The new, 38,000-square-foot Art Van Furniture showroom will be locally owned and operated by brothers Chris, Dave, and Jeff Hutson, who ran their family’s operation and had been in business for 73 years.
“In today’s retail world, it’s all about your partners,” said Chris Hutson. “By joining forces with Art Van Furniture, the residents of Cape Girardeau will enjoy a larger selection of merchandise, more competitive prices, and an enhanced shopping experience.”
The showroom, located at 43 S. Main Street, has been extensively renovated and will feature signature Art Van Furniture departments including Magnolia Home by Joanna Gaines, Cindy Crawford Home, Outlet at Art Van, and Art Van PureSleep. There will be a grand opening celebration for the public on June 23.
With its new Cape Girardeau location, Art Van Furniture currently operates 73 furniture showrooms throughout Michigan, Indiana, Ohio, Illinois, Iowa, and Missouri, as well as Art Van PureSleep mattress stores.
