Texas Designer Wins Trip to HP Market Courtesy of Universal To The Trade

Case goods and upholstery manufacturer Universal to the Trade awarded Ashley Moore of Southern Farmhouse Designs an all-expenses paid trip to High Point Market this spring, as part of a contest to learn more about the To The Trade brand.

The contest originated in March at the Design Blogger’s Conference in L.A., where the company used a trip contest as incentive for designers to visit their booth.

“High Point Market is overwhelming but it’s so cool!” said Moore. “When I started my business three years ago who thought I would be here? This is the icing on the cake to come here and do this.”

"One of the great parts of organizing the Design Bloggers Conference is getting a front row seat to the smartest influencer marketing programs being executed around the home furnishings and design industry,” said Adam Japko, CEO of Esteem Media and creator of the conference.

“Universal always shows one of the best faces at market, and was able to leverage their impressive market investment by bringing the winning influencer to ground zero."

Tom Conley, president and CEO of the High Point Market Authority said, “We are very thankful for Universal To The Trade partnering with the Design Bloggers Conference to bring Ashley to Spring Market. Any time we can expose a new buyer to the extensive resources available to them at High Point Market, it’s a win for us, it’s a win for the exhibitors like Universal and, hopefully, it’s a win for the buyer who now has first-hand experience on what High Point can offer. We hope to see Ashley and her team at Fall Market in October!”
