UPS May Enter Furniture Delivery Business

UPS (and its competitor, FedEx) currently deliver packages up to 150 pounds to a customer’s doorstep. The article from Reuters states that UPS is in talks with at least one U.S. trucking firm to launch an in-home delivery service for heavier goods, such as furniture and mattresses.
