The addition of Modsy’s technology enhances the Crate and Barrel Design Services program by allowing customers to envision how the brand’s furniture, art and décor will look in their own homes.
The two companies introduced a pilot program in July 2017. With this week’s official launch, the 3D room designer is now available to Crate and Barrel customers online and in stores.
“Shopping for the home is a deeply personal experience and we want our customer to have confidence that the furniture they’re investing in is perfect, in every sense of the word,” said Joan King, VP, eCommerce Crate and Barrel. “We’re constantly looking at ways to enhance the shopping experience — whether in-store or online — and we’re thrilled to partner with an innovative company like Modsy to help us bring that layer of visual reassurance that customers can’t get anywhere else.”
Shann Tellerman, CEO of Modsy, said, “The Crate and Barrel Design Services program exemplifies what we believe is the future of furniture shopping and we’re extremely proud to be part of their vision. Crate and Barrel is known for their customer focus and ability to adapt to what customers need and want out of an engaging, end-to-end shopping experience. We are confident that our partnership continues to define that industry standard.”
Customers can shop in-store or online through the brand’s Premium Design Services package, which includes the services of a design expert, mood board, 2D floor plan and optional in-home consultation.
CB2, a division of Crate and Barrel, also uses Modsy technology to power CB2 interiors, the brand’s online design service program.
