Century Furniture Debuts New Showroom at 200 Steele

Century Furniture will debut a new showroom space, located at 200 Steele, Suite 213, at the spring High Point Market.

This represents the first move for the company’s flagship showroom in more than 30 years.

Located in a brand-new three-story extension to the 200 Steele building, Century is accompanying its sister companies, Hancock & Moore and Highland House, that already reside in the existing 200 Steele building.

The 40,000-square-foot showroom features an open floor plan and will be a key resource for design professionals and retail stores. An open kitchen and source room concept will provide ample space for designers to work on projects and utilize all the tools Century has to offer.

“This is an exciting time for Century,” said Alex Shuford, III, CEO and president. “We have designed a showroom space that we feel will allow us to evolve as a company, showcasing to our retail and design partners the best of Century’s lifestyles and furnishings.”

Century opened its doors on Thursday, April 12, and be open through Wednesday, April 18, from 8 a.m.-6 p.m., with hospitality throughout. Century will hold a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Saturday, April 14, at 1 p.m. to officially open the new showroom. In addition, Saturday evening they will host a grand opening celebration from 6-8 p.m.
