Based in Coachella Valley, Calif., the award-winning designer integrates fine art, nature, and comfort into her work. Her designs evoke a classy lifestyle that is inspiring and refreshingly approachable.
Raised in Philadelphia and educated at the School of the Art Institute in Chicago, Willetts also earned a dual degree in Political Science and Fine Art, and spent time in Mexico. A proud iconoclast with a blue streak in her red hair, she develops close working relationships with clients, craftsmen, and contractors, fueling the idea that great design and artistic vision belong in our everyday lives, and not just in museums.
Now heading her own, firm Willetts Design & Associates, she also regularly blogs about design-related matter and showcases her latest projects on her website. Willets is moving into furniture, fabric, and fashion design as a way to extend her vision into new artistic realms.
