Classic Brands to Launch First Fabric Upholstery Collection

Classic Brands, a resource for specialty mattresses and upholstery, will unveil a 16-piece fabric upholstery collection under the DeCoro brand name at the spring High Point Market.

The new collection targets millennial consumers and includes a range of traditional, midcentury modern, and contemporary styles. The new lineup marks DeCoro’s first fabric upholstery offering.

The small-scaled collection of sofas and chairs features an easy-to-assemble design that makes the items suitable for both e-commerce and traditional retail stores. Each piece can be shipped via UPS or FedEx.

“This exciting new collection is our first that uses our patented, easy-to-assemble design, and we believe it will especially appeal to millennials,” said Michael Zippelli, president and CEO. “Millennials are more price-conscious than other demographic groups, and they tend to be more comfortable with simple furniture assembly. We felt the market was underserved and we could offer an innovative and exciting solution.”

The new collection includes a pair of two-seat sofas, and one chair that converts into a twin-size bed. Fabric covers include a variety of plain, linen, and twill designs.

The DeCoro line will be shown along with the company’s sleep products in Classic’s High Point showroom, Plaza Suites 407.
