Mega Motion Offers Sneak Peek at TruePetite Power Recliner

This will be the first “true” petite size power recliner with lift feature designed for a small statured person to sit comfortably with their feet in contact with the floor, according to a company statement.

While most lift chairs labeled petite, junior petite or small have floor-to-top-of-seat heights of 19 inches to as much as 23 inches high, Mega Motion’s new TruPetite will feature a lower profile with a floor-to-top-of-seat height of just 17.5 inches. 

The TruPetite model includes full power recline and lift mechanism, performance fabric options, a USB port built into controller, as well as side storage pockets and integrated emergency battery backup.

“Improving the quality of one’s life is a major goal of Mega Motion,” said Dwight Hardison, director of operations for Mega Motion. “We know there are many small statured people that have not been able to experience a level of comfort that suits their needs, plus they feel less in control when their feet are not in contact with the floor.”

Hardison continued, “Unlike many other small chairs that feature reduced seat cushioning, our TruPetite model addresses these requirements for full support and comfort, as we do in all of our Mega Motion models.”

TruPetite will be manufactured domestically and be distributed out of Mega Motion’s four warehouse locations around the country to ship same day or next day to retail customers.

“The TruPetite will help round-out the Ultimate Power Recliner line for furniture retailers,” said Joe Showfety, Sales Manager for Mega Motion. “There will now be an Ultimate Power Recliner available for virtually everyone.”

Mega Motion is located in Furniture Plaza Showroom 100 (located in the pass-through between the La-Z-Boy Showroom and the Plaza Suites).
