Noir Rolls Out New Designs, Widens Commercial Reach

Looking to build on success in the residential market and expand their commercial offerings, upper-end resource Noir will be unveiling new introductions for the High Point Spring Market next month, that will feature teak and stone inlays, and a new wood finish.

According to the company, the new wood finish is similar to a sheen-less lacquer and covers wood grain and distressing, giving it a cleaner look than its predecessor.

With a focus on locally sourced materials, lead designer Georg Baehler discussed the new Pike Chair. “As with all of our teak pieces, it’s made with environmentally beneficial plantation lumber,” he said.

“It has an inviting hand-woven black cotton fabric adorning the low seated cushion which is placed in the center of a geometric and toothy teak frame,” Baehler added.

Additional highlights include: the Tulou Shelves which create the illusion that items on display are suspended in air; the Neive Chandelier with snowflake-shaped glass crystals; and the Parsifal Dining Table, which has a reversible metal tubular frame.
