Jensen-Lewis Closes Chelsea Showroom, Relocates to Upper East Store

Contemporary furniture store Jensen-Lewis has announced they are closing their Chelsea store location in New York City’s art district and consolidating into their Upper East end store, due to redevelopment plans for the Chelsea location by their landlord.
To make the relocation possible, Jensen-Lewis is selling all inventory located at the 7th Avenue store, calling it “The Great $2 Million Store Closing-Consolidation Sale.” The sale began March 3.
“We have enjoyed a tremendous following in our Chelsea store for many years,” said owners Jim and Mike Ehrenthal. “Our consolidation and relocation will allow us to improve the way we serve our loyal customers and remain a leader in the contemporary and modern home furnishings arena.”
The Lynch Sales Company, an internationally known sale event specialist, based in Chattanooga, Tenn., is coordinating the sale.
“We expect tremendous crowds due to the low prices we will be ordering. Everything, including our newest merchandise and special orders, will be sold during this historic sale," said the owners.
