Chick-fil-A Exec to Keynote Furniture Fellowship Prayer Breakfast

Cox, who has held leadership roles in three of Chick-fil-A’s philanthropic organizations since 2005, will focus on the “servant leadership culture” at the company, a culture he calls personally, professionally and spiritually “transformative.”

“We’re about engaging and developing people, and making our business relationships transformative, and not just transactional,” Cox said.

The 24^th annual breakfast, which carries the theme “He who serves best profits most,” begins at 7 a.m. in the International Home Furnishings Center ballroom on the 11^th floor of the Green Wing. It will end promptly at 8 a.m.

The menu will include food catered by the local Chick-fil-A restaurant, and the company’s “Eat More Chicken” mascot will be on hand.

Leading in music and worship at the breakfast will be HopeCity Music, a team of writers, singers, musicians and worshipers based in central North Carolina and led by Andy Peele.

In a special tribute, past Furniture Fellowship Chairmen Randy Austin, Rob Culp and Kevin O’Connor will be recognized for their service to the mission of the industry prayer breakfast, as they will be retiring from the Furniture Fellowship Board.
