Martin Gets Case Goods Merchandising Post at Kane’s

Dianne Martin, an executive with decades of experience in the furniture business, has been named merchandise manager for case goods at Tampa, Fla.-based retailer Kane’s Furniture.

Martin was most recently a buyer with retailer American Signature, where she specialized in master and youth bedroom furniture. She also held positions as a senior sourcing buyer, assistant buyer and associate buyer.

Her responsibilities with Kane’s will include evaluating products for the right balance of style, function, features and value; collaborating and selecting vendors; assisting with quality control efforts; aligning product selection with financial objectives, and tracking trends which influenced the product pipeline.

“Dianne’s sales and consulting experience, industry background, enthusiasm and impressive track record will be a tremendous asset at Kane’s,” said Irwin Novack, Kane’s Furniture president. “We look forward to having her as a member of our team.”

Kane’s has 18 stores in eight major Central Florida markets.
