Dianne Martin, an executive with decades of experience in the furniture business, has been named merchandise manager for case goods at Tampa, Fla.-based retailer Kane’s Furniture.

Her responsibilities with Kane’s will include evaluating products for the right balance of style, function, features and value; collaborating and selecting vendors; assisting with quality control efforts; aligning product selection with financial objectives, and tracking trends which influenced the product pipeline.
“Dianne’s sales and consulting experience, industry background, enthusiasm and impressive track record will be a tremendous asset at Kane’s,” said Irwin Novack, Kane’s Furniture president. “We look forward to having her as a member of our team.”
Kane’s has 18 stores in eight major Central Florida markets.
