Stunda, Patil Added to ITA Board of Directors

In addition to Arsian, the current ITA board includes Kelly DiFoggio of JLA Home, ITA vice president; Kathryn Richardson of Libeco, ITA treasurer; Brian Bunch, Mitchell Fabrics; Tom Forrester, Berkley Home Furniture; Mendy Kearns, Hamilton Fabric Sales Inc.; Jana Platina Phipps, Classical Elements; Jesse Rector, Portfolio International; and Katherine Shoaf, STI.
Stunda began working with textiles in the 1990s while living in Tokyo. He formed a company that sourced and imported textiles from other Asian countries, the Americas and Africa into Japan for five years. He moved back to the United States and worked for American Silk Mills for over 10 years.
Currently, Stunda is sales director for Barbarossa Leather and also works with other textile companies as a representative.
Patil founded D&S Imports Exports Inc. and in 1995 founded Himalaya Imports, Inc., which does business as Catania Silks. In 1996 Dada started a textile mill in Bangalore, India, called Sierra Silk Mills, Pvt. Ltd.
Currently Catania Silks imports fabrics from around the world and distributes them in the United States and Canada.
