Purple Adds 3 Mattresses with Coils to Product Lineup

Online mattress producer Purple, which recently became a public company, has added three mattresses to its lineup that feature the company’s proprietary Hyper-Elastic Polymer technology.
The new models, which were launched in November in select Mattress Firm stores and are now available online, also have rows of individually-wrapped coils designed to work with the patented polymer for extra comfort and support, the company said.
"Our focus is always on providing the most comfortable and supportive products on the market, with the highest quality and most accessible prices," said Sam Bernards, CEO at Purple. "This new line of mattresses features the most advanced comfort science available, with several different options to ensure everyone can find a mattress perfect for them."
He said all of Purple’s new models include a feature a top layer of cushioning that sits on 7.5 inches of the individually-wrapped coils.
The new Purple.2 model has a two-inch layer of Hyper-Elastic Polymer and retails for $1,899 in king, while Purple.3 has a three-inch layer and retails for $2,499 in king.
And the Purple.4 has a total of 13 inches of comfort layers, including the 7.5 inches of coils and four inches of the Hyper-Elastic Polymer. It retails for $3,099 in king.
