Sunpan Sets Partnership with Vietnamese Manufacturer

Sunpan Modern Home, a resource for transitional and contemporary furniture, is expanding its international distribution through a partnership with Vietnam-based manufacturer Donata Inc.
Under terms of the agreement, Donata will have global distribution rights for Sunpan’s Irongate collection, which will be expanded.
Donata also will open a new showroom in Vietnam, and will streamline the design, manufacturing and marketing of the collection, said Sunpan CEO Sundeep Bagga.
“I anticipate that more of our growth will come from international markets outside of the Americas over the next five years,” said Bagga. “Over our decade-long relationship with Donata, we have heavily invested in growing their product assortment and infrastructure. We love Vietnam and the future of furniture manufacturing there.”
The new showroom in Ho Chi Minh City is a joint venture between Sunpan and Donata in a loft-style space and is designed with large illuminating windows and open spaces ideal for showcasing the growing Irongate collection, he said.
The collection also will be on display at the Vietnam Furniture & Home Accessories Expo, which takes place March 7-10 at the Saigon Exposition and Convention Center.
