Mill Village Collective Moves April Show to Union Square

Mill Village Collective, a group of design-forward exhibitors, specialty producers and custom furniture manufacturers that began exhibiting during the High Point Market last year, will move their “show within a show” to the historic Union Square building for the April market.

The collective, which had been using the upper floor of another historic building at 1014 Mill Ave., will use 15,000 square feet of Union Square’s ground floor for its April show.

The exhibition will be open to market buyers from Friday, April 13 through Tuesday, April 17. Official market dates are Saturday, April 14 through Wednesday, April 18.

“We are pleased with the level of enthusiasm that buyers, exhibitors and media have expressed for our first two editions,” said show organizer Tim Branscome. “We’re gearing up for our exhibit in yet another beautiful historic mill, this time in the middle of downtown High Point.”

The Union Square building is at 410 W. English Rd., and is a designated stop on one of the market’s downtown shuttle routes, he pointed out.

Mill Village Collective exhibitors will include BuzziSpace, Jiti, Enkle Design, Sobremesa by Greenheart and Eugene Estoltzfus Architects + Furniture Design.

Branscome said the move was necessitated by a showroom expansion at Cicso Brothers, the anchor tenant at the Mill Avenue showroom.
