Zuo Remodels Miami Showroom; Showcases New Décor Division

Lifestyle furniture and décor resource Zuo has overhauled its Miami showroom, highlighting its new Zuo Décor division and adding a series of vignettes for its indoor and outdoor furniture collections.

The newly remodeled 4,500 square-foot showroom features two floors, with Zuo Décor collections taking the entire first floor. Most of the company’s indoor and outdoor furniture collections were relocated to the second story loft, showcasing new styles from January markets.

Designed and merchandised by John J. Uribe, owner of 7 Furniture in Doral, Fla., the showroom’s lifestyle vignettes emphasize a seamless blend of the hottest emerging 2018 trends while enhancing the company’s indoor and outdoor furniture collections.

Uribe said the new collections evoke a personalized touch, creating a story to emphasize each collection and trend as one would do when working with a client.

“We are so proud that John was willing to work with us again on our Miami showroom remodel,” said Zuo CEO Luis Ruesga. “John is not only talented at design and merchandising, but a long-time customer whose feedback on Zuo Décor collections we value. The final design has gone beyond my wildest expectations.”

Ruesga said the company’s Florida sales rep already has begun inviting local retailers and designers for private showings, and has received “an overwhelming response.”

“I was honored to be asked to merchandise Zuo Décor’s showroom vignettes and I am really excited with the end results. The impact this remodel and decor displays will have for Zuo Modern is huge,” Uribe said. “From its local retailers and designer clients, to their International customers, this remodel will deliver an instant impact for their accessories business. Being able to see an item’s size, while touching and feeling the unique textures and rich finishes is crucial when shopping for home decor.”
