Sustainable Furnishings Council Plans 2 NYC Seminars

The Sustainable Furnishings Council has scheduled a pair of seminars in New York City in February that are eligible for CEU credits.

On Feb. 5, the group will host a session at the NY Now design show to discuss its 2017 consumer research project. That is followed by a Feb. 14 seminar at the New York Design Center to discuss sustainable design.

The Feb. 5 event begins at 1:30 p.m. in room 1A05 at the Javits Convention Center. It will be led by SFC Executive Director Susan Inglis, who will discuss the survey results and focus on consumer’s desire to purchase environmentally-friendly home furnishings and textiles, and the importance of choosing the correct terminology to market sustainable products.
