Williams-Sonoma Debuts Line of Sleep, Wellness Products

Retailer Williams-Sonoma (NYSE: WSM) has launched a line of wellness products, including a sleep monitor that can be placed on a night stand, as part of an effort to promote healthier lifestyles through improved sleep.
Sold under a new brand called Robin, the products will be available in select stores and sold online by Pottery Barn, Pottery Barn Kids, PBteen, West Elm and Williams-Sonoma.
The retailer said the brand’s launch is anchored by the Robin Sleep System, which includes an innerspring mattress set and the SleepScore Max Sleep Improvement Monitor.
“Sleep has emerged as a powerful tool in promoting health, productivity and vitality, and our customers’ interest in high-quality products that support and improve their well-being is intensifying,” said Anddria Varnado, vice president of strategy and business development for Williams-Sonoma Inc. “Robin extends our vibrant portfolio of brands by delivering new and valuable product experiences to our customers.”
The SleepScore monitor is a small, non-contact device is designed to measure sleep in detail, including the quality and quantity of sleep, from a customer’s nightstand.
