Bassett Mirror to Make Atlanta Market Debut

Bassett Mirror Co., a resource for accent, occasional and dining room furniture, as well as lamps, mirrors and artwork, is opening its first Atlanta showroom in time for next month’s Atlanta International Gift and Home Furnishings Market.

The new showroom, which will be open year-round, is located in AmericasMart Building 1, Floor 11, Spaces F9 and F11, which is one of the market’s busy home and furniture floors.

The company said the 4,000-square foot showroom is in a convenient, high-traffic corner space near other major furniture and rug exhibitors.

“We are very excited to be showing at the Atlanta Home Furnishings Market," said Spencer Morten III, CEO of Bassett Mirror. "The Atlanta market attracts exactly the kind of customers we do business with every day: independent furniture stores with a passion for style; interior designers looking for what's new and fresh; and home accent stores and other specialty boutiques from coast to coast."

As part of the Atlanta market debut, Bassett Mirror has launched a new trade advertising campaign. Themed "The Designer Brand That Has America Talking," the ad campaign highlights comments Bassett Mirror Company has received regarding the design, quality and originality of its products.

"We receive so much wonderful feedback from our customers about the style and creativity of our designs," said Ron Cepulo, senior executive vice president and chief marketing officer. "We invite retailers and designers to come to our showroom during the Atlanta market, and in April in High Point, to see what all the talk is about and continue the conversation."

To kick off its new Atlanta showroom, the company is introducing a series of hall chests and cabinets. The chests and cabinets are in a range of styles, from transitional and contemporary to glam, and feature the company's signature finishes, such as silver leaf and soft white with gold leaf accents, as well as exclusive hardware on select pieces.

In addition, Bassett Mirror is introducing a series of new mirrors and lamps in transitional, contemporary and glam styling.

"Retailers and designers have expressed great optimism about their prospects for the coming year, and we expect them to come to our showroom in Atlanta looking for unique, on-trend items that can help them create excitement with their consumers," Cepulo said. "We're looking forward to seeing our current customers as well as new prospects who may never have seen our line in High Point.”

The next Atlanta market takes place Jan. 9-16.
