Palliser’s new 3,346 square-foot showroom on the 10th floor of Building B will enable the company to show an expanded upholstery assortment, as well as case goods from Casana Furniture, a company acquired by Palliser in June.
“The combination of Palliser upholstery and Palliser casegoods under the Palliser brand allows us to offer a complete portfolio of home furnishing products to our retailers throughout Canada, the United States and Mexico,” said Cary Benson, CEO and president of Palliser Furniture. “We had a great reaction to the whole home look we previewed in High Point at October market and will build future collections to take advantage of our ability to provide upholstery and casegoods products designed to work together.”
The new Palliser showroom will have a grand opening ribbon cutting at Winter Market, both to celebrate the expansion and to mark the debut of Palliser Casegoods.
“Palliser Casegoods is thrilled to make its Las Vegas debut, said Nathan Dick, president of Palliser Casegoods. “The additional showroom space at Las Vegas Market will provide us with a setting to showcase a wide selection of upholstery, occasional, bedroom and dining product.”
In connection with Palliser’s expansion, market officials said casegoods supplier ID USA will move its current B10 showroom for the Winter Market to a new 3,225-square-foot space on the same floor. ID USA offers a wide variety of living room, dining room, bedroom, home office and storage products.
“Las Vegas Market is becoming the critical gateway for major manufacturers seeking to attract a western United States buyer base,” said Ryan Mahoney, senior vice president of furniture leasing for International Market Centers. “As the leading furniture, home decor and gift destination in the western United States, Las Vegas Market is continuing to enlarge its buyer audience among major retailers and interior designers, offering new opportunities for suppliers and buyers to connect at Market.”
The Palliser expansion and ID USA relocation are the latest of more than 30 previously announced showroom additions and expansions for the Winter Market, Mahoney said.
