Lewis Wins Castelle Furniture in Social Media Contest
Lewis was awarded $5,000 worth of Castelle furniture as a result of her participation in the “See, Sit, Select & Snap” contest, in which she shared a picture on Instagram that was taken in the producer’s “selfie station” in the showroom.
The contest was staged to promote Castelle’s 2018 quick-ship program.
“With the launch of the Quick Ship Program, Castelle wanted to create an opportunity during the busy market to engage with attendees in a non-traditional manner,” said Derek Ritzel, president and CEO of Castelle. “The selfies not only enriched our social media, but also provided valuable product preference information and overall exposure for the Quick Ship Program, which was the fundamental goal.”
The contest resulted in 700 new Castelle followers on social media platforms, he said.
