ITA, AHFA Form Alliance for Legislative Work, Educational Programs

The International Textile Alliance has formed an alliance with the American Home Furnishings Alliance that will provide ITA members and others in textile industry increased opportunities for legislative representation and access to educational programs.

“We’re excited to be bringing our members new benefits through this relationship with AHFA,” said Catherine Morsell, executive director of ITA. “Our membership will truly benefit from AHFA’s legislative representation and educational resources.”

“AHFA’s webcasts, technical seminars and professional development programs are valuable member benefits we plan to extend to our membership. This is the beginning of what we believe will be a long-term reciprocal relationship that will benefit members of both organizations,” she added.

“Our industry has always benefited when its business sectors communicate, network and partner on issues that advance our common interests,” added Andy County, CEO of AHFA. “AHFA looks forward to cultivating this new relationship with ITA and its members as we seek to further support the mission of both organizations.”
