FFD Unveils Merchandising Program to Back Veranda Collection

Fine Furniture Design has launched a retail merchandising program in support of its new Veranda Collection that allows retailers to duplicate the lifestyle displays that were featured in the company’s High Point Market showroom.
Called +2 Retail Program, it includes three custom wood flooring options and two wall displays with Veranda signage that coordinate with each furniture vignette.
The company said participating retailers will receive the flooring and wall displays at no charge, complete with a template outlining how to install the vignettes. Retailers will also receive point-of-sale materials and brochures outlining how consumers can purchase the flooring and wall displays.
“We believe our +2 Retail Program will be more valuable to our retail partners than discounts on floor samples, because it was designed to help maximize square foot profit on retail floors,” said Eric Graham, president of Fine Furniture Design. “We are articulating a visual lifestyle — not lamps and throws — but architectural façades which will not only provide consistency in what consumers will see at retail, but will also provide them with the ability to bring that same look and feel into their own homes.”
The flooring portion of the program is manufactured by LM Flooring, a subsidiary of Fine Furniture Ltd., with which Fine Furniture Design shares its 2.5 million-square-foot manufacturing facility in Shanghai. The company also manufactures flooring at its new facility in Cambodia.
Fine Furniture Design will warehouse the wall displays and flooring in its East Coast warehouse. The materials will be available for immediate shipment with the first shipments of the Veranda collection in late January.
In addition to the flooring and wall displays that coordinate with Veranda, the company said it plans to extend the +2 Retail program with future product launches.
