Summer Classics Moves Atlanta Showroom to Designer Floor

Luxury outdoor line Summer Classics and indoor high style furniture brand Gabby have announced an expanded focus on the interior design business, with Summer Classics moving its showroom from the gardens area of AmericasMart to the designer floor.

Summer Classics will occupy a permanent showroom directly across from sister company Gabby in showroom 13-D-15, 17.

The move will be made in time for The Atlanta International Gift & Home Furnishings Market taking place Jan. 9 – 16.

Visitors to the new Summer Classics showroom will discover customized outdoor rooms designed with relaxation in mind, many of which have been influenced by Gabby.

“We’ve been in the garden area of the Atlanta Mart since 1979,” said CEO Bew White. “So as we evaluate our changing customer base, there are multiple crossovers between Gabby and Summer Classics. Putting them in adjacent showrooms leverages the similarities between the two brands.”

Schon Duke, vice president of sales, said, “One of the highest compliments that we receive is when a designer comes into our showroom and says they can’t believe this is outdoor furniture. What we hear our customers say over and over is that they love the new fashion and new design that the Summer Classic line offers.”

The 2018 introductions will include expanded upholstery collections, more the 100 new fabrics, and an increased selection of accent tables and bar carts featuring mixed materials.

“We ultimately think this move will be a great benefit to our customers, especially with the growing connection between indoor and outdoor spaces,” said William White, president of parent company Gabriella White, LLC.
