Dallas Expands One-of-a-Kind Products for January Market

As part of an expanded offering of one-of-a-kind products, Dallas Market Center is launching a new category in its temporary gift exhibit area for January’s Total Home and Gift Market.

Called Made, it will include products made in a unique way, including handmade, locally made, globally made, American made, uniquely made, and one-of-a-kind making it a destination on campus with premier product.

The new category will be part of the gift temporaries on the 12th floor of the World Trade Center.

“This expanded product selection will create a whole new type of buying experience for our eager buyers,” said Kristina Johnson, vice president of trade shows for Dallas Market Center. “The organization and central location of this category will provide a new sense of ease for our buyers when they are looking to source these types of products.”

She said the Made category on WTC 12 is located next to the new seminar space where presentations, speakers, and events occur regularly during Market creating an enhanced experience for exhibitors and buyers alike.

In addition, the exhibitors within this category are located near the popular food options on the 12th floor creating additional ease in sourcing this category.

“We continue to see a strong demand for one-of-a-kind items,” said Cindy Morris, president and CEO of Dallas Market Center. “Our Temps are a highly anticipated part of Market, and we are adding even more value for our retailers to discover additional products their customers will love.”

To source additional upcycled and one-of-a-kind products, buyers can visit Market Hall for cash and carry, furniture, and vintage products that can be taken home same day or via an order-writing process, Morris said.

The market will take place Jan. 17-23. The Temps are slated to open Jan. 18.
