Las Vegas Market officials said they expect its three Pavilions to be home to temporary exhibits from more than 500 gift and home décor resources as part of a significant expansion of its temporary exhibit area.
The newly expanded temporary exhibition space will showcase products in seven categories – including two new categories and segmentation of an existing category – allowing buyers to more efficiently source and shop the Market’s ever-growing temporary resources, market officials said.
“Las Vegas Market is continuing to experience a flood of interest in temporary exhibit space from gift and home décor suppliers,” said Dorothy Belshaw, president of gift leasing and chief marketing officer of International Market Centers. “The extremely high renewal rate for current exhibitors, along with brisk exhibit space sales to newcomers, is confirming Las Vegas Market’s position as the nation’s fastest-growing gift and home décor market. The Pavilions at Las Vegas Market will be compelling, comprehensive and easily-accessible for buyers and designers alike this winter.”
The Winter Market will take place Jan. 28-Feb. 1. Exhibits in the Pavilions will be open through Jan. 31.
Pavilion 1 encompasses a new Design Lifestyle category, as well as the returning Gift and Handmade categories, in some 85,000 square feet, while Pavilion 2 showcases a new Design Home category, the returning Home category and a newly segmented Discoveries: Antiquities category in more than 18,000 square feet.
The newly opened Pavilion 3, meanwhile spotlights Discoveries: Vintage, Global and Cash & Carry in more than 16,000 square feet.
A special highlight of Winter Market will be a Cash & Carry Shopping Spree and late night shopping hours on the evening of Monday, Jan. 29 in Pavilions 2 and 3.
