England, La-Z-Boy Casegoods to Combine Vegas Showrooms

Upholstery producer England Furniture, a unit of La-Z-Boy, will combine its Las Vegas Market showroom with La-Z-Boy’s case goods brands and move into an expanded exhibit space in time for the January market.

The combined 30,000 square-foot showroom will be on the fifth floor of Building B, and will feature case goods brands American Drew, Hammary and Kincaid, in addition to England.

“Las Vegas Market is delighted that these powerhouse brands are ‘upping the ante’ and demonstrating their commitment to business growth with new and expanded showrooms,” said Ryan Mahoney, senior vice president of furniture leasing for International Market Centers. “As the leading furniture market in the western United States and the nation’s fastest growing gift and home décor market, Las Vegas Market affords a one-stop-shop, cross-category buying opportunity on an efficient, accessible 56.4-acre campus for retailers and designers.”

La-Z-Boy’s case goods brands previously exhibited in a separate Las Vegas showroom.

“Our company had a tremendous response to the launch of our Las Vegas showroom five years ago, and we believe we need more space to present a broader depth and breadth of our casegoods offerings across all of our brands, including quality upholstered furniture from England Furniture and casegoods selections from American Drew, Kincaid and Hammary,” said Otis Sawyer, president of La-Z-Boy Portfolio Brands.

“Our combined and newly-expanded 30,000-square-foot space will allow us to feature a larger assortment of merchandise, which in turn, will fuel our further growth and development.”
