Hall of Fame Adds ‘After Party’ to Induction Ceremonies

Hall of Fame officials said the networking event will give attendees a chance to congratulate the new inductees and meet The 5th Dimension, who will be performing at the Induction Celebration.
“For several years, many people have mentioned that they didn’t have the opportunity to congratulate the inductees after they had officially been inducted,” said Bob Maricich, president of the Hall of Fame Foundation Board. “We decided it is a good idea and we are fortunate that Samson Holding, Ltd. stepped up to make it happen. Most importantly, this new event is great for toasting the inductees socializing with friends and networking with industry leaders.”
Held in the Guilford Ballroom lobby at the Sheraton Greensboro Four Seasons immediately following the induction ceremony, the gathering will feature light snacks, wine, beer and specialty after-dinner coffee, along with an energetic DJ to keep the night going.
This year’s inductees are the late Donald H. Flanders, Sr., founder and chairman of Lloyd Flanders; the late Vladimir Kagan, contemporary furniture designer; Samuel Kuo, co-founder and chairman of Samson Holding Ltd.; and Bernard D. Moray, chairman of Gorman’s Home Furnishings & Interior Design.
Keynote speaker for the event is former Secretary of State Colin Powell.
A cocktail reception will kick off the event at 5:30 p.m., and dinner will be served at 6:30 p.m. The After Party will begin at 9:15 p.m.
