Showplace Adds Five Tenants for October Market

The five-story Showplace showroom building will have five new tenants for next month’s High Point Market, and three existing exhibitors are putting the finishing touches on expanded showrooms.

Officials of building owner International Market Centers said new tenants are home décor supplier Brayden & Brooks, rug producer Couristan, lifestyle décor brand John Beard Collection, framed art resource Wexel Art Displays, and leather upholstery resource Simon Li.

All except Simon Li are first-time High Point exhibitors. Simon Li has moved from Plaza Suites to Showplace, where its new exhibit space, Showplace 4200, is more than double the size of its previous space.

IMC officials said Brayden & Brooks is in space 3446, Couristan is in space 2350, John Beard Collection is in space 3424, and Wexel is in space 2335.

Showplace tenants who have expanded their showrooms are Euro Style, space 3200; Star International Furniture, space 3148; and Uwharrie Chair Company, space 231.

Showplace has five floors of permanent exhibitors and hundreds of product lines. Buyers can enjoy complimentary breakfast each day of market from 8:30-9:30 a.m. in the atrium, and complimentary beer, wine and hors d’oeuvres on the third floor balcony from 5-7 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 14 through Tuesday, Oct. 17.
