Upholstery producer Man Wah has expanded its Furniture Plaza showroom in High Point, boosting its size to nearly 60,000 square feet as the company prepares for the U.S. launch of Fleming, a contemporary lifestyle brand Man Wah acquired earlier this year.
The company said the 19,000 square-foot expansion will allow the company to have a more extensive display of the Man Wah/Cheers line, and provide a dedicated space for Fleming.
The Fleming launch will include 24 fabric upholstery groups featuring Mid-Century Modern styling and designed to appeal to younger, urban consumers. Several will be covered with performance fabrics.
Six accent chairs also are part of the introduction.
The new products will begin shipping early in the first quarter in limited mixable containers, the company said.
Fleming was founded in Scandinavia in 1994 and is now sold in 25 countries in Europe and Asia.
Man Wah’s showroom is space 412 of Furniture Plaza.
