September 18,
2017 by Larry Thomas in Business Strategy, Industry, Special Events
Ryan Craver, senior vice president of emerging brands, licenses and digital strategy for Lamour Group, and Marty Whitmore, vice president of Boston Retail Partners, will be keynote speakers for the annual Storis client conference, set for Nov. 1-3 in Florham Park, N.J.
In addition to the keynotes, Storis said the event includes 25 educational seminars, multiple networking events, and evening receptions.
Craver will kick off the event with a presentation titled “Living in a World of Unified Commerce.” It will focus on how “mobile, the sharing economy, social media, and location-based data – all are changing not only our lives but how customers engage in commerce.”
As a senior advisor to many retail brands, including New Balance, Terramar Sports and Joe Fresh, Craver is a leading expert on this topic. In his role, he directs key Unified Commerce initiatives focused on Mobile and AdTech.
Whitmore will headline the final day of the conference with a presentation titled “Moving from Faux Omni-Channel to True Unified Commerce.” It will cover “how retailers can deliver a seamless customer experience across all touch points using a common platform driving real-time intelligence and personalized engagement.”
Before shifting to retail strategy, Whitmore worked as a vice president for TJX brands and also for Global Store Systems. He brings the unique perspective of both a retailer and a technology expert to his message.
Other topics on the agenda include the evolving customer journey, selling strategies, inventory accuracy, moving merchandise, financing queuing, buying tools, route and capacity planning, cross docking, the future of business intelligence, dashboard design, system health and security, operational reviews, and more.
Additionally, the Storis team will lead key presentations on their product roadmap, the state of the company, and a client panel on customer experience.
Conference sponsors include AcceptanceNOW, ecUtopia, Fortitude Technology, Fortiva Retail Credit, Genesis Credit, Peak 10 + Via West, Podium, Rocket Software, and Wells Fargo Retail Services.
More than 200 retailers already have registered for the event, but registration is still open through the Storis client portal, support.Storis.com.
