BoConcept Provides Product for NY Fashion Week VIP Lounge

BoConcept, the Danish-founded global retail furniture franchise partnered with New York Fashion Week (NYFW) to provide furniture pieces and design consultation for the VIP Lounge at Skylight Clarkson Square during this year’s NYFW, which ends today. .
The partnership came about as BoConcept continued to build excitement surrounding its rapid U.S. expansion, including the debut of a pop-up shop in New York City’s Soho neighborhood as well as the brand’s new flagship corporate store opening this fall in the famed Madison Avenue shopping district.
Designs showcased in the lounge included contemporary furniture options for home and office. Elements from acclaimed designers like Oki Sato and Karim Rashid that appeared in the lounge will also be featured in the new Soho pop-up and Madison Avenue stores, highlighting a collection of modern and functional options for the urban-minded homeowner.
“It is a tremendous honor to be included in such an iconic event in the fashion industry, particularly because so much of our inspiration for design has its roots in high fashion,” said Steen Knigge, director of U.S. marketing for BoConcept.
“The partnership provided a spot on the world stage of fashion that allows us to share our progressive interior design elements with the most influential minds in fashion from around the globe,” continued Knigge.
With 16 U.S. locations, BoConcepts is building on its already strong global recognition among key U.S. demographic groups. Dominance in markets across Europe and Asia have laid the groundwork for rapid expansion potential in the U.S and the launch of the partnership with NYFW serves as the latest step into a new dominant position, he said.
