Wayfair Launches Upper-End Home Furnishings Site
E-commerce powerhouse Wayfair (NYSE: W) is launching a new brand today called Perigold, a website that features upper-end home furnishings and decor from more than 300 brands.
The site features more than 70,000 items and includes dozens of brands that largely have been sold through interior designers, and numerous others that typically are found in design showrooms and have been sold by both designers and traditional furniture retailers.
“We are thrilled to present this groundbreaking new retail offering to shoppers seeking the highest quality furnishings for their homes,” said Paul Toms, vice president of Perigold. “Perigold provides wide-ranging access to the most respected brands in home along with tremendous ease of dedicated concierge service and white glove delivery on all products. He said customer service "concierges" are available 24/7 to provide style guidance and arrange for delivery. He said white-glove delivery is complimentary with all large items, and includes in-room assembly and removal of packing materials.

Furniture brands listed on the Perigold website include Aiden Gray, Arteriors, Bernhardt, Bradington-Young, Caracole, CR Laine, French Heritage, Hekman, Hooker, Kingsley Bate, Lexington, Lloyd Flanders, Milling Road, Noir, Parker Southern, Sligh, Stanley, and Theodore Alexander.
In addition, mattress brands Simmons Beautyrest, Stearns & Foster and Tempur-Pedic are listed.
Perigold is the sixth member of Wayfair's brand portfolio. In addition to its flagship Wayfair site, its brands are AllModern, Birch Lane, DwellStudio and Joss & Main.
