Langdon, NorthCape Unveil Four Collections at Casual Market

The new designs will be displayed in a presentation inside North Cape’s Merchandise Mart showroom space 16-112 and will feature rugs, lighting and accessories.

“Retailers are coming to Market looking for something fresh and new to excite shoppers,” Langdon says, “and our goal at NorthCape this Market is to present them with fashion forward, high-quality furniture for the outdoors in an inspirational environment packed with great ideas that they can take back to their stores.”

“Along with the new furniture collections, buyers and designers will find outdoor lighting from Crystorama and outdoor rugs from KAS rugs.  It’s going to be Libby Langdon floor to ceiling in the Windy City and I can’t wait,” continued Langdon.

“As interior trends moving outdoors continue to build momentum, it was obvious that we needed to find an experienced interior designer to help us come up with the right concepts, looks and functional ideas for the world’s new outdoor spaces,” says Tom Murray, president, NorthCape.

Libby Langdon is one of the fastest-growing home furnishings brands in the business and quickly making her mark in the outdoor category, he said.

“We had a strong history of on-target product development that helped us attract and build a great dealer base, but we also knew there were more dealers and end-users out there that we were not appealing to. Engaging Libby Langdon to attract those new dealers and excite existing dealers was a no-brainer,” said Murray.

Lighting up the NorthCape space will be the new licensed, Libby Langdon outdoor lighting collection for Crystorama. In addition, an assortment of outdoor rugs from Langdon’s latest licensing partnership with KAS Rugs will also be on view. 

At the center of it all will be Langdon’s NorthCape furniture designs: The Taylor Collection, the Weston Collection, The Mooring and the Live Edge Table Collection.
