Buyers visiting the Hamilton-Wrenn design district showrooms for the fall High Point Market taking place October 14-18, will find an expanded roster of upscale product debuts.
The 200/320/330 North Hamilton showrooms in the center of the Hamilton Wrenn design district are home to numerous fashion-inspired product lines and anchor a design destination for market buyers.
Dorya, an upscale upholstery and case goods manufacturer, is debuting its new showroom and the latest Vogue Living product introductions at 330 N. Hamilton during the market, relocating from the company’s previous showroom in the 200 Steele building.
At 129 S. Hamilton, the new Christopher Guy showroom will open to buyers following the soft opening of the building in April. Designed by CG founder Christopher Guy Harrison in partnership with International Market Centers (IMC), the 20,000 sq. foot state-of-the-art building is the first purpose-built showroom to be constructed at High Point Market since 2005.
“When I launched Christopher Guy in 2007, I established two goals – the first was to create products that had a certain Chanel or Dior-esque spirit, and furthermore to one day seek a location in the very heart of High Point, the epicenter of the US furniture industry,” Harrison said.
Five CEU-accredited seminars will be offered during the October market on the first floor of 200 North Hamilton in the Alden Parkes showroom. Featured topics include: Getting Published: Insights from a Home & Design Editor; The Best Decorating Trend is Profitability; and Trends to Bank on for 2019.
In addition, a Hamilton showroom tour will be hosted by forecasting and design expert Stacy Garcia on Monday, Oct. 16, leaving from Alden Parkes.
Complimentary gourmet coffee is available from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m., Saturday – Wednesday, in the 3rd floor café at 200 N. Hamilton.
In the afternoon, complimentary bars offer beer, wine and networking on alternating floors at 200 N. Hamilton from 4 - 6 p.m.
