2017 by Larry Thomas in Business Strategy, Industry
Classy Art, a Houston-based manufacturer and distributor of wall décor, has been forced to shut down operations due to the devastating effects of Hurricane Harvey.
The company has received nearly one hundred calls and messages from concerned customers, vendors, reps and colleagues offering assistance, including an offer from a colleague to send a helicopter from Alabama to extract the Cohen Family and take them to safety.
Gabriel Cohen, president, Classy Art said “We have been overwhelmed by the unbelievable amount of industry colleagues that have shown their graciousness opening their homes to us, trying to send supplies and even offering extractions. I feel blessed in knowing how much everyone cares.”
The company’s production and shipping operations are closed until further notice. However emails and phone calls are being monitored. All inquiries should be directed to 800-372-8007, ext. 100. Delays are anticipated if using any other forms of communication. The company is apologetic for any inconvenience, and are asking customers to be patient until it is safe for them to conduct business as usual.
