Jeremy Hoff Named President of Hooker Upholstery

Hoff had been president of high-end resource Theodore Alexander since 2015, and earlier served as senior vice president of sales at A.R.T. Furniture, where he pioneered the upholstery category for the company.

While Hooker Upholstery’s core product line is leather upholstery, it has expanded recently into barstools, domestically-produced “Nest Theory” upholstered beds, and will be significantly expanding its motion leather upholstery line-up the fall High Point Market, Delgatti said.

Prior to his executive posts at Theodore Alexander and A.R.T., Hoff was a regional sales manager for Broyhill and a manufacturers’ representative for Universal, Craftmaster, Pulaski and King Hickory. He began his furniture career as an assistant sales manager for retailer Louis Shanks Furniture in Houston.

Hoff, who will be based at Hooker Furniture’s corporate office in Martinsville, Va., reports to Delgatti.

Earlier this year, the company reorganized its legacy business into four business units, and named presidents to run three of them. Steve Lush is president of Hooker Casegoods, Craig Young heads Bradington-Young, and Frank Richardson is president of Sam Moore.
