Badgley Mischka Founders to Keynote WithIt High Point Breakfast

The event takes place Sunday, Oct. 15, from 7:30 a.m. to 9 a.m. in the International Home Furnishings Center ballroom.

Known today as fashion designers-to-the-stars, including Madonna, Jennifer Lopez, Rhianna and Carrie Underwood, and for their glamorous red-carpet and runway creations, the pair met as students at Parsons School of Design. Together, they formed Badgley Mischka in 1988, dedicating the next three decades to building an international lifestyle brand.

At the April High Point Market, the pair launched Badgley Mischka Home, a collection of furniture and accent items, in their InterHall showroom.

The self-described “serial homeowners” share a personal passion for interior design, and their homes have been featured in top shelter publications such as Architectural Digest and Elle Décor magazine. While making the design transition from fashion to home was a natural one, it was additionally informed by countless interactions with couture clients, connecting the dots between apparel and décor.

Attendees at the event will follow the professional and personal journey of Badgley and Mischka, and learn from their brand-building process. The designers will offer insights to manufacturers, retailers and interior designers for meeting the growing consumer demand for style at home.

A Q&A format will be moderated by Cindy Hodnett, director of public relations and communications for International Market Centers.
