Retailer Williams-Sonoma (NYSE: WSM) has launched Design Crew, a cross-branded design services initiative that will help consumers located needed products and services across all eight Williams-Sonoma brands.
Starting immediately, customers can visit any store in the Williams-Sonoma, Inc. portfolio to schedule a free consultation with a Design Crew expert to help with their personalized decorating or shopping needs.
The company said Design Crew experts are specially trained to help customers with decorating, renovating, entertaining, cooking, and gift giving. In addition, members of The Key, Williams-Sonoma, Inc.’s reward program, will receive 3% back in rewards on any purchase across its family of brands.
“Innovation that best serves our customers’ needs in-store and online is our priority, and the new Design Crew allows us to provide customers with outstanding service and a range of aesthetics and products across all of our brands at the same time,” said Laura Alber, president and CEO of Williams-Sonoma, Inc. “The Design Crew experience enables us to maximize our competitive advantage of diverse brands, grow our in-store and online businesses, and further our commitment to provide outstanding service to our customers.”
Alber said no project is too big or too small, noting that Design Crew members can provide services “from inspiration to installation.”
The retailer’s portfolio of brands consists of Williams Sonoma, Williams Sonoma Home, Pottery Barn, Pottery Barn Kids, PBteen, Mark and Graham, Rejuvenation, and West Elm.
