Jerome’s Opens First Stand-Alone Sleep Shop

Retailer Jerome’s Furniture has opened its first free-standing sleep shop in downtown San Diego – the area where the company was founded in 1954.
The store, called the Dream Shop, includes full lineup of private-label mattresses, high-end Aireloom mattresses and a complete line of bedding accessories.
“Our roots are in Downtown San Diego and it’s rewarding to be able to re-establish a presence in the neighborhood where my grandfather started the business,” said Jim Navarra, executive vice president of Jerome’s. “We saw a significant opportunity to fulfill the area’s growing number of residents with top-tier mattresses at our everyday low Jerry’s Prices. We’re excited to be back in Downtown San Diego.”
All 13 Jerome’s stores include a Dream Shop, but the downtown store is the first free-standing unit.
