Abbyson Hosting Home Design, Technology Seminars in Vegas

Full-line lifestyle brand Abbyson is hosting a pair of seminars in its showroom at the upcoming Las Vegas Market aimed at updating retailers and interior designers on the latest trends in home design and technology.

One event, which begins at 11:45 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 1, features Michelle Lamb, president of The Trend Curve, a color forecasting firm. Her seminar, “The Fashion of Home,” will focus on global rends influencing tomorrow’s home—from color, materials, and even cues from the runway. The event is co-sponsored by Interior Design Society.

To attend the event, RSVP to trade@abbysonliving.com.

Abbyson’s showroom is on the first floor of Building B.

On Monday, July 31, Abbyson is hosting some of the industry’s most progressive leaders in design technology utilization and community building for a networking event and panel discussion. As collaboration and key relationships are the cornerstones of the new design landscape, panelists Jackie Von Tobel and Deb Barrett of Soft Design Lab, along with celebrity designer Kelli Ellis, Joseph Haecker of Designwall, and Lee Rotenberg of IVY, will discuss how designers can create their own “tribe” of supporters, collaborators, and suppliers to help navigate the new world of design.

The Monday event is currently at capacity.

“Our goal at Abbyson is to continue to elevate the experience for our customers each and every market by delivering an abundance of new, fashion-forward products and directional programs that help our customers chart their course for the year ahead,” said Doddy Rafieha, senior vice president.

“Nearly 90 percent of the designs featured in our showroom this summer are brand new—with a big color story in upholstery and leather and inspired largely by the fast-moving apparel and fashion market. This is probably the biggest push we’ve ever had in new product introductions.”
