Designer Weekly Partners with BOLD Summit

BOLD Summit LogoHome Furnishings Business and its Designer Weekly e-newsletter have become gold sponsors of the Business of Luxury Design (BOLD) Summit, the bi-annual meeting for high-end design industry business owners.

The 2017 Summit will take place Sept. 25-27 at the historic Auditorium Theater in downtown Chicago, and will include an array of high-profile speakers and roundtable discussions that focus on strengthening and diversifying revenue streams, business development, and leadership.

“We’re pleased to partner with the BOLD Summit, which brings together hundreds of the world’s most talented and business-savvy designers,” said Bob George, editor in chief and publisher of Home Furnishings Business, the strategy magazine for the home furnishings industry. “It’s a great opportunity for us to connect with the rapidly-growing realm of luxury design.”

Designer Weekly is a weekly e-newsletter serving the design community with news and relevant content for designers and retailers alike.

It is aimed at helping readers stay abreast of the latest news within the designer landscape -- from digital and branding to events, interiors, licensing, product, furniture and more.

One of the highlights of the Summit is the Sept. 26 Bold Masters Awards dinner that honors three design industry luminaries. This year’s honorees include Barclay Butera and Jamie Drake, each of whom have numerous home furnishings design credits in their portfolios. The third honoree is Pamala Babey, a well-known designer of luxury hotels and residences.
