New Controller, Compliance Manager Among Cory Promotions

Specialized carrier Cory Home Delivery has promoted Shirley Disbrow to the newly created post of controller and Loryn Marino to legal and compliance manager.
The two were part of a group of nine women recently promoted or hired by Cory through its Women@Cory program, which provides development and advancement opportunities to women who demonstrate potential, achieve results and express a desire to grow.
Disbrow has been with the company for 19 years, and recently received her bachelor’s degree in accounting from Rutgers University, while Marino has been with the company for 15 years and recently graduated from the Rutgers Law School.
Other promotions as a result of the program were Mariela Almanzar, risk manager; Adriana Cartagena, accounting manager; Natalie Hubert, human resources generalist; Monica Faria, training and development manager; and Victoria Cuenca, lead fleet compliance specialist.
In addition, Kacey Duva has joined the company as marketing administrative assistant, and Abigaile Pangilinan has joined the HR team as staff recruiter.
